It was decided to declare 158.1 hectares of area in the Aşağıpınarbaşı location of the Selçuklu district on the Konya-Ankara highway as the "Konya Technology Industrial Zone" in accordance with the article 3 of the Industrial Zones Law No. 4737
In the Konya Technology Industrial Zone, where ASELSAN Konya Arms Systems Factory was established on approximately 300.000 m2 area, advanced technology studies will be carried out like robot, nano technology, artificial intelligence, defense, space and aviation projects.
It is expected that an investment of 700 million dollars will be made in the region, where approximately 4 thousand people will be employed, and a positive contribution to the current account deficit through value added and advanced technology production.
